Who Are We?
Richard F. Mestayer, III, MD, and Paula Norris Mestayer, M.Ed., LPC, FAPA, of Springfield Wellness Center, are the originators of Brain Restoration Plus (BR+). They also have the distinction of bringing intravenous NAD therapy (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) to the United States in 2001. The BR+/ NAD protocols and applications are the results of an accumulated breadth of knowledge obtained through years of practice beginning in 1980.
What Constitutes the BR+/ NAD Certification
Program Offered?
In an effort to make the benefits of intravenous BR+/ NAD available to as many patients as possible, BR+ MD Consultants have developed a training program in intravenous administration of BR+/ NAD for healthcare professionals. In the addiction arena, the use of intravenous NAD to assist in recovery of brain function, following the cessation of drug and/or alcohol abuse, is demonstrating exciting outcome potential. Intravenous NAD was first administered in Canada by Dr. Abram Hoffer. Since that time, a growing collaboration of compelling scientific studies and clinical experience is putting intravenous NAD into the spotlight. Our training program prepares physicians and mental health practitioners to provide the highest measure of care with the intravenous application of Brain Restoration Plus Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (BR+/ NAD). We believe the apprentice/mentoring approach to the proper use of intravenous BR+/ NAD is the best training protocol. BR+ MD Consultants and our training faculty are committed to helping clinicians excel in helping their patients improve their lives through BR+/ NAD intravenous therapies. We have established certain standards of practice based on our many years of clinical observations and continuing research.

Why is this certification of significant value?
Our BR+/ NAD therapy protocols and applications are the result of an accumulated breadth of knowledge obtained through years of practice beginning in 1980. As a result, we have the most experience in providing this treatment and continue to advance our knowledge by adapting our protocols in response to new findings from current research and ongoing clinical observations. Springfield Wellness Center is the longest-operating intravenous NAD services clinic in the US, with a patient satisfaction rating of 98.9%. Their craving scale is less than 1% after 10 days of treatment.
We believe, in order to help our patients improve their lives, we must recognize that the brain mediates everything: our mind, our body, and our spirit. Because we are committed to brain health and restoration, we believe that we can have a positive impact on those who are seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
